Connect an ohmmeter to the terminals of the sensor. Suspend the sensor in a container of water to heat the sensor . Heat the water and check the tempearaatuer .
In the chart bellow record resistance change.

ITA sensor detect the temperature of incoming air steam. On vehicle equipped with a maf sensor. The IAT sensor is located on intake air passing. The IAT is connected to THAterminal on the ECM. The IAT is used for detecting ambient temperatureon.
A cold start and intake air temperature as the engine heats up the incoming air.
