in this experment the switch on at 96 deg C . cool water 20 deg c resistnce 0.4 ohms when get 96 deg c resistance OL and switch on. Below picture you can see switch off and ON '

at 20 deg C to 95 deg C the resistance same 6 ohms

when water get temperature of 96 de C there is no resistance OL means the thermo fan switch is ON now.

The rhermo fan switch imporatant that switch works properlly on every car as it used to turn on the radiator cooling fan. When vehicle driveng on highway the radiator cools down with upcoming air steam , when it's an traffic jam and only short strat and stop .
In market we can found a few type of that sensor . Once when complete the circuit when heat enough and will do open circuit when at certain temperature.
